Madrac Farms Pumpkin Patch
Madrac Farms Pumpkin Patch is the only true pumpkin patch in the Coastal Empire. We own 22 acres of land. We design our activities for children aged 3-10 and that fits right along with our small size. In October, we host Effingham Counties only true pumpkin patch, featuring the Orange Bulldog pumpkin, with a corn maze, hayrides, and other fall fun at our farm. Come visit one of the many events at the farm we have throughout the year!
Pumpkin Picking:
We grow our own pumpkins - hard to do in South Georgia. But we also bring in a large variety of other types of pumpkins from all over the USA. Choose from red, brown, Cinderella, white or traditional Orange! We grow the Orange Bulldog Pumpkin, a new variety of pumpkin developed by the University of Georgia, which is specifically designed to grow in South Georgia's humid climate, and other test varieties of Orange and White pumpkins.
Corn Maze:
Our corn maze is 5 acres - not too big, not too small! See if you can beat your friends through the maze in record time. Just right for the little ones and bigger kids too!
Hay Rides:
With 2 hay rides running almost all the time, you'll never have to wait in line! Take a 10 minute ride through the Georgia woods, where we frequently see deer, hawks, squirrels, rabbits, and yes...even snakes!
Big Slide Bouncy House:
Enjoy zipping down this 13-foot wooden slide on a potato sack. Go it alone or have your parents ride with you! And on site all season is 2 bouncy houses for the little ones to romp around in. Age limits apply.
Farm Animals:
Come on out and feed the goats and chickens! Animal feed is just 50 cents and located at the far end of the property in the goat barn.
